Celeste Flores is a bay-Area metalworker and blacksmith. Flores' art evolved through her love of painting and then sculpture, but she found her passion when she was introduced to an anvil and hammer. She attended the Academy of Art university in San Francisco, earning a BFA in Sculpture. After graduating she worked briefly at a well-known bronze studio in Berkeley, forging architectural bronze. Flores currently teaches blacksmithing at The Crucible in Oakland and loves to collaborate with clients on custom projects.
