As a watercolorist based in Mendocino, nothing gives Madi greater joy than to create works that experientially uplift, inspire, and restore. Her work can bring a smile at the end of a tough day and bring calm and centeredness to a space. She is most well-known for landscape pieces that use an “ambient weave” technique inspired by the bark of the rainbow eucalyptus trees. Although Madi has traveled and lived around the world – collecting colors, shades, lighting, and perspectives – her favorite view is the one from her Airstream studio situated in a Redwood grove and shared by her two loves: husband Zachary and studio pup Caruso.
