Today is “Giving Tuesday” and there are more than 1.5 million non-profit organizations registered in the US. That includes public charities, private foundations, and importantly the non-profit, community-based organizations that make a difference every day on the coast. We encourage everyone to find your cause and support your chosen organizations. We are regular supporters of the Mendocino Arts Council, but today we also gave back to the Noyo Center for Marine Science, the Mendocino Coast Botanical Garden, Mendocino Coast Healthcare Foundation – specifically for the nurses who have pulled yeoman’s duty during this terrible pandemic, and the Fort Bragg Food Bank. We also support Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) programming.
Whatever your cause, we encourage you to give regularly to help those organizations accomplish their missions.
