LOVE ART, WINE & GOOD FOOD?

Lansing Street Gallery is thrilled to host Marin-based oil painter Elizabeth Gorek for a solo exhibition in Mendocino this weekend.  Her exhibit, Scattered Moments, is inspired by the Octavio Paz poem “Sun Stone.”  One line specifically – “…the moment scattered itself in many things…” – resonated with Gorek and the paintings in this exhibit are the echoes of that line in the poem.

Please join us for a complimentary reception with refreshments on Saturday, April 9th from 4-8pm on the deck at 10466 Lansing Street, Mendocino, CA.

“I love how light touches darkness…

I’m drawn to the unguarded moment, stripped of artifice,

a caught thought trapped in the body that betrays an inner life.”

 ~Elizabeth Gorek
