This 2025 36x36 inch oil on canvas is titled "Long Gone." One of her newest works to grace the gallery, she revisits one of her favorite subjects, bathers. Gorek loves how light touches darkness. She is drawn to the unguarded moment, stripped of artifice, a caught thought trapped in the body that betrays an inner life.

Gorek hails from a family of artists and considers herself a lifelong student of fine art. Her paintings range from colorful abstracts to representational figurative work and are largely oil on wood panel or oil on canvas mounted on wood panel.
