Ostovany - The Refuge of Memory 5 - Oil on Canvas - 20x16 in - 2021
Waking from a dream with the edges defined, but fading, this 16 x 20 in oil on stretched canvas seeks to capture the ethereal and evaporating content before it diffuses utterly. Inspired by the Sufi poets and dedicated to a practice that seeks to capture light and illuminate metamorphosis, Ostovany seemingly does both effortlessly.
